Only Available in Dolphin Professional

The Process Monitor allows you to inspect the Smalltalk processes that are running in your image and to perform various administration functions upon them.

Note that, Smalltalk processes are so-called "green threads" and are independent of the processes and threads managed by the Windows operating system.

In a normal, basic, Dolphin image there should be five processes running. If you have more than this, and you have not deliberately started additional processes (or installed packages that do so) then this is an indication that you may have some Zombies lurking in your image. A quick way to get rid of most zombies is to use the Panic icon in the System Folder.
