Distributing Console Applications

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

A Dolphin console application has the same runtime support requirements as a Dolphin GUI application, minimally the VM (DolphinVMYYR.DLL), and C runtime libraries. You are unlikely to need the development resources library (DolphinDRYYR.DLL), but the compiler (DolphinCRYYR.DLL) can be used if desired.

As with a GUI application, redistribution of any of the Development System Components in any form is not permitted by the terms of the license agreement, so you must ensure that the development classes are stripped, and you must not ship the ConsoleStub independently. Refer to Distributing Your Application for further details.
