Debugging Out-of-Process

Setting up for debugging out-of-process is marginally more involved that for the in-process case since it may be necessary to omit the in-process registration in order to persuade COM to use the out-of-process server (see Creating an Instance).

One must also make sure that Dolphin will register a class factory object with COM for the component class when the image starts. This is achieved by evaluating the COMInterfaceImp class>>registerClassFactory method, for example:

COMRandomStream registerClassFactory.
